RSL announce a new partner in the Birmingham office
12 June 2009

The firm is delighted to announce that Paul Chaplin is to become a partner in the firm with effect from 1 July.  Paul qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1992 and joined RSL's Birmingham office in January 2006 after over twenty years at Pinsent Mason. Paul specialises mainly in the defence of law firms and of financial intermediaries.

Not only is this a personal landmark for Paul, but it is an innovative step for this firm. As a result of the changes brought in by the Legal Services Act, it is now possible for a Legal Executive to become a partner in a law firm.  In making this promotion, RSL will then become one of the first law firms to become a Legal Disciplinary Practice, a new status created by the Act.

We offer our congratulations to Paul.
